The Culture

The best thing about working at Backcountry Wok is: getting to connect with likeminded folks like yourself! We are inspired by the amazing people that we meet every day who have aligned values in community, sustainability and good food.

When we’re not working, we’re: in our natural habitat – taking our delicious creations on all our outdoor adventures from climbing, hiking, skiing and scuba diving.

 Five years down the line, it’s our hope that: Backcountry Wok elevates people from all woks of life to feel confident and empowered in their ability, identity and purpose in the outdoors and in our society. By creating an inclusive brand, supporting our local producers and hiring diverse people, we strive towards a society and outdoor community of equal gender and cultural representation.
