The Culture

The best thing about working at Peak 7 Adventures is: An amazing team of people dedicated to creating transformative outdoor experiences.
When we’re not working, we’re: playing outside - Paddling, climbing, hiking…

What we’re reading:  The Gifts of Imperfection, Brene Brown
What we’re listening to:  Hollow Coves
If they made a movie about our workplace, it would be called: “Fueled by Caffeine: A Story of Perseverance and Adventure”
Inclusion in the outdoors matters because: EVERY young person should have the opportunity to experience the wonders and challenges of an outdoor adventure. It is our job to erase the barriers that exist for youth to spend time outdoors, especially under resourced and underrepresented youth.

Five years down the line, it’s our hope that: We will continue to serve more under resourced and underrepresented young people in the outdoors through an increasing number of activities and options, including adaptive experiences for youth with disabilities.

The One-Year Goals

(What’s the company culture we wish to create?)

  • The creation of a leadership trajectory from a youth's outdoor experience to Peak 7 Staff / Volunteer so that our staff and board of directors will begin to better reflect the diversity of the youth that we serve.
